When did this boards granmar usage fall off of the cliff?
Posted by DanTiger on 12/13/15 at 3:23 pm425
I often see people write things like "I'm going see my friend" and "I'm going McDonald's." At first I thought people were committing typos and the word to had simply been forgotten but I now see this written quite often on this board. Is this some sort of new message board development or is it part of daily speech as well? Is to a dying word? I can handle grammar mistakes because we all make them but the purposeful exclusion of a word necessary for proper sentence structure seems strange to me.
