I like Weather Underground. I love "Wundermap", and I think the Tropical Storms/Hurricanes section is really good.

Not sure if any one site is more accurate than the other for forecasts.

•The Weather Channel?
•Accuweather?
•Others??

Weather Channel

Why? That's their sole mission in life; OK they also promote global warming but I'll let that slide for now

Because I love the API behind it, Forecast.io is really great in terms of accuracy. Honestly, I don't use it much day to day because I don't really check the weather on a computer often, but I do use its Dark Sky, their mobile app with the same backbone powering it, every single day. I'm constantly amazed at how accurate some of the predictions are and how up-to-second it is. It actually won me $20 because my friend bet that it would be wrong when it predicted it'd rain everywhere else in the city except for right around where we were. Every other service told me that rain was coming, but Dark Sky was like "Bro, that shite's going to pass 4 miles to the South of you. You're good."

Seriously, though, I've tried working with the APIs of almost all of the big players for weather data, and nothing has come close to the Dark Sky Forecast API for me. It's not what you want if you're just looking for a bookmark to check the weather, but if you need accuracy and current forecasts for any reason, I wouldn't recommend anything else.

No.. they name winter snow events... which is stupid.

Weather Underground Wundermaps for me. Will tell me exactly where it's raining in my area and when it will rain where I'm at. Used to like Stormpulse for looking at hurricanes, but they went to pay only, so no more.

Bearpawsweather.com tropical page during hurricane season....He is ex military general and has access to tons of sites and computer models that regular public news stations don't....he posts them all in a scroll down with tons of information. I haven't listened to or payed any attention to any weather forecast but that since about 2001....extremeley accurate and very current. actually will post hurricane hunter finding while still in flight over the storm...guy has connections.

I've been using weatherspark.com

I got sick of the autoplay adverts that cropped up on the others.

In the winter it's NOAA because they predict the most cold and snow.

Live in Shreveport right now. I'm sure you're familiar with the flooding.

Their app is complete garbage -- particularly the radar and forecast parts. So what's the point right?

I'm on this thread trying to find one worth a damn
