Whether it's 99% of the posting population being over six feet tall, having a 7 inch or bigger dick, scoring 30 or above on the ACT, or having perfect credit the OT never disappoints.

I find these credit card supplied scores to be 30-60 points higher than actual. perhaps it's their way to make you fell better about using their cards more.

What "actual" score are you talking about? The person you responded to was talking about his Transunion FICO score that he gets with his Discover IT card. Some of the other cards like Capital One offer a "credit tracker" service and there's aren't FICO scores.

Barclay card gives me a score that they call FICO but it's 50 points higher than my actual score

Again, which "actual" score though? I just signed up for MyFico credit monitoring and the FICO 8 they list on the main login is exactly what my Discover and Barclay card statements show. There are many more versions of the FICO score though. With the MyFico 3 bureau monitoring, they give you NINETEEN different FICO scores. Some are old versions, some are auto-enhanced, some are bank card enhanced. No wonder people's scores are all over the place. This is from the MyFico app:

quote:

Each lender determines the FICO Score version it will use in its credit review process. In general: – The large majority of auto loan lenders are using a FICO® Auto Score – It's very likely your mortgage lender is using a version previous to FICO Score 8 – Many credit card issuers are using a FICO® Bankcard Score or FICO Score 8 – For all other types of credit evaluation (e.g., personal loans, student loans, retail credit) it is likely either FICO Score 8 or the version previous to FICO Score 8 that is being used by the lender

Just bought a nice 2500 sq. ft. Brick house and my credit score was an abysmal -125... but my bank said that they don't give a damn about the credit score. They said that's overrated as f**K.

I have no idea what my is.

My banker can see my bank account and loan history and that's good enough I guess.

+1. Literally. 852.

I kid, I kid. I'm in the 750-760 range. I honestly didn't think anything below 800 was special. Y'all are making 720's sound high.

By the way, we all know 911Moto is bumping some 296 score.

I've got my nuts with me. How about y'all gentlemen?

According to Equifax the average credit score in my area is like 670-680. Leave it to the OT to not only be above average but to absolutely crush it.

LOL. The minimum credit score required to qualify for a secondary market mortgage loan (Fannie Mae) is 680. Nobody in your neighborhood would be able to qualify for financing?

This is how claims of redlining areas get started. What people (ahem, Obama) need to understand is that not everyone should be homeowners and not everyone is credit worthy.

835. 6'3. 31 ACT etc. All true but I am about the farthest thing from an OT baller.

I drove a 19 year old truck with a bad A/C compressor to work today.

Damn, you put the Lambo in the performance shop at the same time you let your agent borrow the Ferrari. Oh well. That's why you keep a trash truck around.

Here comes the part where people start playing "dumb" .. then drop brag posts .. You "never" thought below 800 was special, but have the credit karma app on your phone .. :cast:

This fricking place plays true to form, every time ..

I recognize some of these screen names claiming to have insanely high FICOs claiming in other threads that they don't even have credit cards and pay everything in cash ..
