I had a huge vanity mirror in my bathroom fall on me when I got out of the shower because it wasn't installed properly. It shattered on my back and some big pieces went straight down my legs slicing them open and cutting the tendons, ligaments and nerves in my ankle.

Went on vacation the week before closing on our awesome dream house. While on vacation, the lawn guy let our dog out and he is gone forever. Cut vacation short to come home to look for him. Pulling a borrowed trailer with my kayaks, the tag flies off and breaks the brake light in the process.
Return home, got hit with an additional 2 grand for sod we would have to shell out for closing. Moving company rolls 26 foot truck through new sod that I paid extra for.
It was a good couple of weeks.

Junior year of high school, my dad just bought me a new 280ZX Turbo. 8 days later, I'm driving home from school in the rain and the woman in front of me stops short. I stopped in time with no problem, then my classmate in a truck piles into the back of me. $3K in damage. Body shop did a crappy repair job. Luckily, my dad bought me a new 300 ZX Turbo for my senior year to ease my suffering.

Anybody know how much a new radiator is gonna cost, ballpark?
I'd file an insurance claim on that if you have collision coverage.

Not that bad a day for some but one of my more miserable days in Afghanistan. I was in the rain for hours in February cordoning an IED and waiting on EOD to blow it. EOD finally gets out there and does their thing and we pack up our crap and hop in the MATV. We drive about 50 meters and the shoulder caves in and we flip the MATV. Spent another good chunk of time waiting on wreckers to get the vehicle out. No injuries for anyone so no real complaints here.

Apparently it took out my fricking AC too
2000 dollars worth of repairs, the insurance covers half of that.
Need to find 100 fat chicks to whore myself out to. Or 10 really fat chicks.

did you ever find your dog? I know how I have felt about my current dog and dog's in the past and that would be hard to process.

Not one of my unlucky times, but one of the most unlucky I've witnessed:
Driving home one night and this guy is in the road with a flashlight waving me down. I slow down and immediately see a black cow in the road. I side swipe the cow. It's going crazy. I pull over, turn on my hazard lights and attempt to help this guy run this cow back away from the highway. Sheriff deputy shows up. He tries shooting the cow. For whatever reason, the cow will not get out of the highway. It runs up a hill, in the lane into on-coming traffic. Guy tops the hill and t-bones the cow (pun intended). Nobody's hurt, just one dead cow. Deputy goes up to the driver of the now totaled car, and after a brief conversation, gives the guy a sobriety test. He gets a DWI.
I know drinking a driving is bad, but that was some piss poor luck - because there was absolutely nothing he could have done sober to avoid that accident.
