Friend of mine last weekend won $14,000 on his trip to Vegas. Put the whole thing on red and 00 popped up.

He says, " hey, I left Vegas even. That's a win!"

Needless to say he's an idiot.

I saw one guy put his rent on there. It was about 800 dollars.

I knew it was rent money because his boo bitched at him about it afterwards when he lost.

Thinking about roulette still pisses me off.

Was playing it for about an hour on a cruise, and ALWAYS put money on 26 (my old sports number). After that hour, for the first time since I arrived at the table, I don't put money on 26. Of couse it lands on 26. shite happens right?

Next spin, I say to myself "well, the odds of it landing on 26 twice in a row are pretty slim" so I don't put any on 26 again. Yep, 26 again.

Would've made $350 the first time. Knowing my gambling habits after a payout, I probably would've put even more on 26 on the next spin.

Haven't played since.

Last trip to Vegas I was watching a buddy play roulette at the Bellagio and some Persian looking guy, his fruity friend, some fine arse princess Jasmine looking girl and the wife/mom roll up to the table. The guy breaks $500 into chips and spreads it all over the table, it spins, and not one thing hits. Next spin he moves it all to green zero and that hits twice in a row. Then he put all of those winnings on double-zero and it hits. After that he left the table with what had to be at least 10 grand in about 5 minutes and didn't even tip the dealer - they weren't even excited, just took their shite and moved on.

Wasn't all at once but a guy was betting $100 on 2 every spin. Did this for about 15 spins. When he bet his last $100 he told his friend on the other side of the table he was "out". The guy reached in his pocket and threw him a wad of $100's. The guy continued betting the same way. He did this until 3 other guys excitedly walked up to the table and started shaking him saying "Brian did it again!! Jackpot!! $150k! That's twice now!!" Both the guys quickly left the table. I assume it was a bacholer party where the guys got lucky.

*This was at the bellagio as well

The odds don't change, and the house loves it. In the long run they are going to win. It's not a game of chance for them.

In one spin? Not much. I played roulette once and started with $100 and walked out with $1000. I was in college so I was very pumped.
