Had a teacher try to tell a class proliferation means to decrease. This was a college professor.

Had a biology/pathology professor in college who had just immigrated from Nigeria, tell the class that congenital abnormalities in newborns are due to the passing of the baby through the mothers genitals during childbirth.

Guy had a PhD. We were all like WTF seriously for the rest of the semester. Every test was argued heavily.

In 1996 my US history teacher told us there had been 26 Amendments to the US Constitution. After a heated argument I got sent to the principal's office. There are 27, I won, and she had to apologize to me in front of the class.

Writing in cursive. It's dead besides the occasional and super important legal john Hancock for paperwork.

Late 70s. Ms. Colbert. 4th grade. Galvez Elementary.

Corrected me when I said there were 50 states. "There's 52 - the 50 continuous, plus Alaska and Hawaii."

I couldn't believe it later in my young life when I found out teachers graduated from college.

I don't know about dumb but Willie "Butch" Haynes III
thought me a saying I never forgot, " I'm serious as a heart attack and twice as deadly as cancer!". My man Willie hated to be questioned on his knowledge of science in the classroom

A jr. high English teacher would correct the word, government, in red ink every time it appeared with "goverment" on a paper that I wrote.

probably Religion.

I got sent to a private school (catholic) high school and that was tough to follow. I didn't have a choice. Got sent there cause I had gotten in trouble at public school.

but there was this girl sitting across from me who didn't wear gym shorts under her skirt and she really couldn't sit still. So you know...

at least with Math and Science I was thinking more within class discussions. But religion was always hard.

harder than it should have been.
