Back in the day, if our team wanted to raise money, we actually did something like hosting multiple car washes.

Yep, I saw a team panhandling in Seaside, FL.
It took everything I had not to roll the window down and tell them to learn to wash some cars for cash.

Nah..
We did shite like travel to Houston & Atlanta for tourneys and hit Astros & Braves games in the evenings as a team, but we raised it by actually doing something tangible other than just holding a hand out.

I didn't know this happened - they should be working for it not begging. We did the car wash thing but had much better luck with running a neighborhood lawn mowing service.
