Seeing people post pictures and status updates on Facebook and it looks like there's some giant conference or something going on. These are guys who clearly are using it as an income. It always seemed like MLM to me but is there some credibility to the products or to working for Advocare?

It's just another MLM scam imo. These people feel like they have their own business I suppose.

Isn't Advocare where Drew Brees made his real money? Wasn't he at the top of the South La pyramid?

Advocate is dead; it's Plexus now. A solid half of my friendships have been destroyed in the last 6 months because they wouldn't stop trying to sell me Plexus shite. Or talk me into becoming a salesperson. frick Plexus and frick you.

Total scam... all the products they sold could be bought on websites such as bodybuilding.Com for cheaper.

I know the 24 day challenge is just vitamins, fish oil, and probiotics. Then they have you on a healthy diet. So basically they charge you a couple hundred bucks for stuff you can probably get for 30 dollars. And none of it really makes you lose weight. The weight loss comes from the healthy diet.

I love people who shell out hundreds of dollars on this crap. Your body absorbs the most vitamins and nutrients from your food. You literally excrete the majority of these additional supplements.

I've tried their Sparks energy/dietary supplements. It seemed to do what they claimed.

Spark isn't a bad product.

As far as your body not needing additional supplements because your healthy diet should be enough. I'm sure that's true to an extent, but I have a terrible diet. I'm a very picky eater. So it may not be the best way to get it done, but it's better than nothing.

I dont by the advocate gimmick type stuff, but I'll take fish oil and vitamins.

the diet plan(which is normal food) is used to help people lose weight. They'll drop 7-8 lbs in 2 weeks or so. But where Advocare comes in, they mix in their energy drinks and meal supplement and try and take credit for the weight loss, when in reality its just the regular old diet. Totally a scam.

A carry a pack of these with me all the time. I think they're called Marlboros.
