Looks like Amerisleep has far better reviews than Tempurpedic.

Any suggestions from folks that have them?

Just bought a tempur breeze flex, it's a memory foam/spring hybrid. I love it, get amazing sleep.... But it was obscenely expensive.

Tallalay Latex is the best mattress you can buy. It is the mattress that people who sell mattresses for a living sleep on.

In surveys of actual mattress owners (consumer reports survey), only 2 brands get more than 50% who state they would recommend/repurchase the same brand. Sleep Number beds got somewhere in the 70-80% range and Tempurpedic got right at the 90% range. This survey probably predates the large entry into the memory foam market of recent years, however.

Take that as you will. I don't know of anyone who has had a Tempurpedic for any amount of time that wishes they had made a different purchase. They are very expensive, though.

ETA: I've had a Tempurpedic HD mattress for several years now and have no regrets.

I have a Tempurpedic and I sleep great with it, BUT it is true that they are hot as fricking shite. If you need to be cool to sleep well you might seriously consider going a different route.

Casper.

And I have had Leesa and Saatva. Simply aren't worth the money and their support, i.e. customer service is garbage.

my ex worked was a manager at a matress store that sold Tempur stuff and I didn't like them at all just around the store. I ended up with a ghost bed because everything I read said it was really good for big guys and I love the thing. I used to sleep on the couch on almost every weekend and now I actually sleep in my bed.

I purchased one from Amazon about one year ago. It was my first foam mattress so I can not compare to others.

I am hot natured but do not find it to make me hotter. It is very very comfortable until it is time to turn over. The indention where I was laying stays for a few minutes. Feels like I am sleeping on the side of a hill.

Not sure if all foam is like this.

We have an original Tempurpedic purchased in 2003, added a 3" latex topper last year because I've gotten a little older, I wanted a bit of a softer component to go with support of tempur material. I would recommend the Tempmurpedic brand to anyone.

We got a Tuft and Needle mattress. Love it so far. Soooooo much cheaper than some of the other foam mattresses. Doesn't get hot. King size is like $750, order online and shipped to you. If you don't like it within the first 100 days you can get a refund. They will arrange for your mattress to be picked up and donated to a nearby shelter/charity.

We have a tuft and needle for about 4 months now, I wish we had gotten it a long long time ago. We love it. Had a sealy pillow top before for nearly 8 years that we hated from day 1.
