What's a nice place to have lunch on Lake Travis? Sightseeing suggestions?

Looking to kill some time before a wedding in Austin tonight.

Know of a cool place with a nice view of Lake Travis or just anything cool in general there to go see?

Thanks

Oasis is a cool place with a real nice view. I honestly don't remember how the food was though.

Lots of places closed during the drought. If you're looking to stay close to town Oasis is cool. Food isn't great but prob best views. Most everything else is far away.

You could try Hula Hut or a couple other places next door on lake Austin. Much closer to downtown.

Do you have a fun car? Drive Lime Creek Road.

Hula Hut for good drinks and scenery. Food is good too. Owned by chuys

It's a bit further of a drive thought

For lake Travis, Steiner ranch is hard to beat. Opens at 4 and is very nice, but they have a great bar with a view and an app menu and hot women. Love that area.

I honestly wouldn't bother to go out to Lake Travis if the wedding and your hotel are actually IN Austin. It's pretty far. Go to Lake Austin instead. Just take W 6th out of downtown - it becomes Lake Austin Blvd on the other side of MoPac. Follow that until you get to Hula Hut or Abel's on the Lake. I prefer Abel's. Get a drink sit out on the patio and chill.

Steiner Ranch Steakhouse is notorious for swingers, if you're into that.

You are thinking of The Oasis.

Hula Hut is on Lake Austin and you could walk there from downtown if you really wanted to.

If you want a good view that you don't have to drive far to see, go to Mt. Bonnell - there's a big overlook there. Put 3800 Mt Bonnell Rd, Austin, TX 78731 into your map app on your phone.

Oasis food is pretty bad, but the view is great. There's a brewery next door that's also called Oasis and they have just as good of a view. If you're in the area it's worth checking that out.
