So, I received a speeding citation a few weeks ago and I am told I was lucky he didn't take me in. What was your worst speeding ticket and have you ever been taken in for a speeding violation?

In the past 3 months I received 3 tickets in Brazoria County, this was the most recent one

How do you go 91 in "heavy" traffic?

Edit: 75 in a 45

That's what I figured. Just wondering why a cop would put heavy traffic because it seems counter intuitive to writing a speeding ticket. Seems like an opening for someone to argue to a traffic court judge that how can one speed if traffic is so heavy. If there are degrees of traffic such as heavy, super heavy, ultra heavy, gridlock, then never mind.

Edit: I'm not saying fight it.

85 in a 45, but ticketed for just 10 over. I REALLY had to shite. And hit the treeline as soon as he told me he wouldn't shoot me. When I came back he was laughing his arse off. I asked him if he needed to see the proof and he said "Nah! I could hear and smell it." I was in a damn bind.

My bother in law was driving his mom's Lincoln when he was in High School and was clocked at 120 on I10 and the state trooper that clocked him got stuck in the median. It was a unique (at the time) white car and the trooper got a partial plate so he searched then showed up at my paw-in-law's business a few days later with all kinds of threats and aquisitions (I miss ole Dee Dee) but no ticket because he couldn't prove anything. He didn't know who was driving.

About 20 years ago I got stopped for 98 in a 55. They guy was pretty nice about it and told me I could take a citation for 74 and an additional ticket for no seatbelt or the 98 MPH ticket and go to jail. Being an 18 year old white kid in Dekalb County Ga on a Saturday night, I opted for the two tickets and go home.
