So I have just received an offer from a pretty cool place and thought to myself how far I've came from my first job when I was 10...

so at age 10 I was helping make Durags (for those who dont know what this is, its like a cheap handkerchief that hides your face when you do misc activities). That job was pure hell. My boss was such a bitch (mom) and we would sell that for 5$ each in downtown houston (which we didnt get robbed but it felt dicey for a 10 year old).

HBU?

Lifeguard. Second degree sunburn, bratty ten year olds, picking up used diapers around the kiddie pool, OT 1.5 soccer moms. My buddy was digging water lines that summer by hand. I envied him.

Night Watchman and Gate Guard at the Avondale Shipyard. Part time job while going to school days. God that was a hateful job, you had to check employees ID's. They hated coming to work, welders - Pipefitters, hung over stoned, and they hated you for being there. I got another job in my career field and left, AMEN

Nothing too bad. Two from college. The first I worked for the Attorney General office filing paperwork. At first it wasn't too bad, I had a busy working with me, but he quit. So then I was by myself in a windowless room completely full of filing cabinets and boxes from florr to ceiling. The nearest window was 50 ft away. That can make you feel like you are going crazy quickly.

After I will there I worked on campus as a student worker. The supervisor was a completely incompetent woman who was just miserable to be around. I'm from a few hours away from BR so Thanksgiving and such was really the only time I got to go home and they tried to make us work and what not. I know that's not that bad, but when it's for minimum wage and the whole experience is miserable it sucks. Like I said nothing too bad, but it was a mindless job coupled with being bossed around by an incompetent tard that made me hate it so much.
