What was your starting salary right out of college?

$1000 a month. 1972 for a local CPA firm.

About $55k, now at $90k 4 years later. Wife made $50k right out of college, she's now at $57k 2 years later.

So you're a professional a-hole :wink: ? You will soon lear the reason they're paying you so much is the rest of the company hates you and will not be professional towards you. Because auditors often don't have the necessary training to know what the hell theyre looking at. Good luck.

Six figs plus brah.
In 1994, right out of college, $24k.
Worked during the day, then classes at night to get my MBA. As soon as I did, I got a raise to $42k base plus profit share of my deals starting in 1997.
I think a reasonable starting salary these days for someone out of college is $38-46k (in the deep south) depending on field and experience such as internships and summer work.
