What sort of special punishment should be invoked for . . .

. . . idiots who can't drive on the interstate without running into somebody? I just got caught in a two mile creep on I-110 (very low traffic period normally) where they had to block off not one but two lanes. These idiots who are texting, tailgating, driving way too slow or way too fast, not paying attention or whatever, causing the rest of us to have to replan our days, miss appointments, etc., should be subject to a punishment that is commensurate with the clusterfrick they cause.

I say, minimally, license revocation for one week forcing them to use uber, taxi, or public transportation and the impounding of their car with a stiff fee to retrieve it.
