Yes and no.

A little trashy for my tastes, but if any of them are your friends, they are the type of guys who would fight an entire bar with you

This is the OT. Just going with the assumption.

Again, from my first post in this thread, I'm saying I think this is the best parish in the state.

I grew up in Plaquemines and there isnt many left that I know on the lower end. After Katrina 90% of the good people left and the meth heads from all over moved in.

The black population in Plaquemines has actually been declining. I know a few blacks from Venice/Port Sulphur and they're all good people.

Why does that matter? The only thing people should worry about is whether or not its good people moving in/out or whatever.

Had a family member who moved down that way for a poor mans simple retirement. I used to stay with him and did a lot of fishing and a little hunting down there. Some pretty fcked up people I made friends with as a teenager down in those parts.

Nope. Just a general assumption about most valuable real estate. I'm sure the farmland up there is second to none in this state.

Fck off. I know how the mouth breathers on this board go about business. I just stated my assumptions.

It really is mind blowing though how expensive the real estate is down that way, especially outside the flood protection areas. It's a nice area, but damn!

We left the parish because we lost everything we owned, but our vehicles, pictures, an a weeks worth of clothes. My oldest son went to three different schools in 3 months, so once we were settled I kept him there to have stability.

And as for the other comment I made, frick it I was just fricking with you.. lol

And I'm not black
