Felt good out there this evening for my fat slow arse

I know most OTers run sub 20, but how about some of you others?

For your troubles -

Think mine is about the same, around 24-25.

It is not impressive.

I could run 3 miles in 16:50 after boot camp. After my first year that fell to 22 minutes and finally about 26 minutes. Now, I tried running last year, got about 600 yards and had to limp back home.

18:12 high school cross country. I probably ran a lot faster on some of the easier courses, but that was my best time on my home course. I only ran one year of cross country.

Crazy isn't it? That guy could have been a top 15 finisher at Footlocker Nationals with that time in 1983, but he only got 32nd in whatever state he ran in. Go figure.

Not sure, don't run a lot of 5k's because I'm smart and realize that they're pointless and I can get better fitness results and look better by lifting and doing HIIT than doing long distance cardio
