What is the longest period of time you've gone without a carbonated soda

and on average how many do you drink daily? I went a couple of years in my late teens. I like the taste of Coke, but I limit my consumption, so I average maybe a 12oz can every few days.

Years.

Soft drinks are basically carbonated syrup. Way too sweet. Coke is gross.

13 weeks (basic training. They would not let us have them)

On an average day I'll have one Coke Zero at night with two or three shots of bourbon.

This. I have enough vices. Carbonated soft drinks are not one of them.

All that gatoraid is not helping you. Sugar is just as high as the cokes. Sugar and fake sugar are the biggest enemies from food.

Still, cokes are my fix!!
I don't drink liquor, I drink cokes. Love me some cokes. Limit my consumption to restaurants (4 -5 times per week), never keep them at home.

I try not to drink sodas if at all possible anymore.

Only time I may cave is when I'm working a night shift at the hospital and I need some caffeine to stay awake and I don't feel like making coffee in the nurse's lounge. So maybe a couple times a month I have a soda at work. Coffee they have in the hospital cafeteria at night tastes horrible and the Keurig machine in our lounge has been broke for about a year.
