What is so good about Covington, Louisiana

I dont see about living in Covington. There are no shortcuts to get around. Everywhere you go there is traffic. People there inbred country hicks

Their quaint downtown area and some of the best restaurants in the state.

Because gas was cheaper than private school. Covington High is kinda meh, but many parts of Covington are zoned for Mandeville schools. Now that my kids are grown, I have thought of moving to New Orleans, but my house & land is too nice to trade for a crowded Uptown spot.

There is too much traffic, West 30's (trashy blacks) and Lee Rd (trashy whites) suck. Boring place if your at a more vibrant age than I.
