Depends on your rx. Just regular sphere correction, w/o astigmatism. You should be able to get by for about $699/eye.

ok. $1500 is what i was quoted. i dont mind spending money on quality work when you're talking about eyes, i just wanted to get a feel for the market.

Look into PRK instead of LASIK.

Get a $1500 job on one eye, and $750 on the other. Let us know if it's worth saving the money.

i have but i would have to miss a lot more work. its an option, but not an optimal one for me.

Mine was pretty expensive. I was about -6 in both eyes with an astigmatism, so I opted for the both he bladeless and wavefront add-ons. Came out to $1600/eye.

ok good to know because my eyes are similarly as bad. and my quote was for the same type of surgery as you had. so it sounds like its reasonable. appreciate the info.

I got PRK on a Friday morning and was back at work by Tuesday. Sunday and Monday were the worst days of my life though.

any price. it depends on the machine they use. Some are more advanced and normally cost more. Mine was 1500 an eye 4 years ago and I'd pay that again in a heartbeat.

Do yourself a favor and drive to Dallas. Get Dr. Boothe to do it. Charges flat $2,500 and has newest technology. Best money I've ever spent.

This is a surgury I would be willing to travel to get the best. It's your eyes. I'd do research and make sure I got a great doc.

Mine was $1800 per eye a decade ago. Got a quote for my wife of $2000 per eye but she has problems they gotta fix too. It's worth every penny.

Mine was $2k, but I got in on a hella good deal just by chance. Almost 2 years later, i'm seeing between 20/15 and 20/10. Worth every penny.

I had PRK but not everyone is a candidate for PRK...
thankfully I was. One draw back with PRK is the recovery time is much longer and much more intense.

I did PRK sveral years ago and you are not kidding. I do think it was worth it because I box and you cannot take hits to the eye if you have Lasik but I probably would not have said that the day after the operation.
