I think it had something to do with receptionists giving out legal advice and then charging for it,

Performance-based fee-sharing with non-attorneys.

Three dashes FTW.

His paralegals did this but yes it's still illegal.

What does the E stand for? What do his friends call him? E? E Eric? I really hate people who use a first initial.

From what I understand, he's a massive prick so he just might go by that.

His bird-dogs and paralegals were chopping up settlement offers and negotiating as I understand it. Which is a big no-no for PI type stuff.

He'll be back in bidness real shortly.

He was an insufferable prick.

Would come into restaurant I worked at and order the "E Special".

It was a lasagna. Same as offered on the menu. No change.

He used to walk in where I worked and order E-tinis.

Same as an appletini. No change. But we spit in it.

My first job teaching history at Glasgow middle, I really did find a book he somehow got published called "101 Uses for Fat People".

I think he went by the Cajun E back then. Or something like that.

I think Get Gordon uses his initial ("G") sometimes - not at home during the day so don't see many of his commercials.

I'm risking outing myself, but this is a funny story. I interviewed him a while before he got disbarred. E had a bookshelf in his office that was filled with nothing but books by conservative political commentators -- Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, etc. And I'm thinking "You're a personal injury lawyer who advertises on TV. You represent everything these people despise." I got some E swag out the deal, which I later brought to a Dirty Santa party.

My friend was a paralegal for him and told me that he legally had his name changed to "E". He showed me his office once and his desk was two large white E's holding up a glass top. No shite.

Remember the bumper stickers he had made that said "E, the Lawyer" mimicking the "W, for President" stickers representing George Bush?
