What do you think the world will be like in 10,000 years?

I'm going to say there will only be one race. Humans will all be the same color. And I bet we find or make another planet to live on as well as earth.

I am holding out hope that I can live till then. If I can make enough money in the next 40 years, maybe I can buy myself immortality.

if the human race survives that long, I suspect that we will be under a single, global dictatorship government. I would suspect, it would be like a bee hive or ant bed with a few at the top forcing labor from the rest....

I think to for us to see it would be to see something that is completely unrecognizable. Just like for someone from 10,000 years ago looking at us and the world now would be seeing something he did not at all recognize or capable of understanding.

Octopuses, squids, alligators, crocodiles, and spiders evolve into the top species.

Whether you believe in Revelations or not, this is possibly the best example of this on record. Specifically the part describing the battle of Armageddon and how seamlessly it fits modern warfare.

The question has blown my mind and I can hardly fathom an answer.

I know that I read some science article predicting that a new kind of living entity will arise that is half human and half computer -- a cyborg. I think many scientists would predict that most of the living population of Earth at that time would be cyborgs. Few 100 percent biological human beings at that time, for whatever reason.

No I am not talking about the movie Terminator, I'm talking real science predictions.

we will live forever by then, time and space travel would be possible, and we will have started to conquer other galaxies.

The only thing stopping us from moving forward is the ability to share/understand information instantly with each other. If we could just imprint 100 or 1000 yrs of education into our brains, think of how quick we would evolve then.

Machines will take over and we will become useless, and they'll kill us all. Long before 10k years.

Plague, famine and war will have reduced our numbers, and those that rise from the ashes will be harder and sterner. Like steel that is forged in fire and quenched in blood.
