From someone who was in the Army and deployed to Afghanistan, it doesn't fricking matter what your job is. Pay your bills.

He's active in the military and they foreclosed his house?

Why wasn't he paying his bills?

Military gives a housing allowance for those that live off base.

Should of bought a more affordable house.

And net income is boosted while you're in country, because you don't pay any federal (and in most cases state) income tax.

Pay your bills, baw.

What does doing 3 tours in Iraq have to do with paying is house note? He should have been banking money there with hazard pay, no tax and no other bills.

Yeah because expecting someone else to bail you out of your poor decisions isn't trashy enough.

Exactly. I was just talking to my girlfriend about this the other day since it was veterans day. I was in the Army. I was in Afghanistan for 13 months in a remote FOB in RC-E on the border of Pakistan. The people who think they should get handouts or bailed out because they were in the military are the worst. You signed up. You got your extra money. You got free college. I do think the healthcare should be expanded for people who sustained lifelong injuries in a war zone but other than that what fricking more do you want?

I don't know the details, but maybe he bought a house that he couldn't afford. Thanks for your aervice, but that doesn't mean you get a free pass at making good financial decisions. shite happens.

less than that, a new garage door from home depot is $400 or hit it with a sprayer & white paint for less than $100.

Beyond trashy, but if you are trying to make a point and get back at them do it right. Or you know, just pay your bills.
