Your best bet is to go into the military and their flight school. Otherwise there are some colleges that offer flight programs, but it's very expensive to get all of the training on your own.

Bachelors with emphasis in aviation. There are colleges that specialize in these degrees. In US you have to have 4 year degree to fly major us commercial. For regional airlines it is not required.

Drone pilots are making upwards of $600,000 a year. You should pursue that.

In MS you can go to Delta State and get a Bachelor of Commercial Aviation (BCA), with concentrations in Aviation Management and Flight Operations, and a Master of Commercial Aviation (MCA).

Embry-Riddle if you want to go to school and not Air Force/Navy.

Super pricey if you're looking to jump from civilian college kid to airline pilot. Military is an option where you get paid and the experience at the same time.

You better watch your alcohol and (obviously) drug consumption. I know a guy that flies for company in the Midwest. He had booze on him from the night before and was in violation of FAR regulations. He's now under some 20 year program where he is monitored. Obviously, he must abstain from all alcohol consumption.

That said, he went to Western Michigan and completed their aviation program.

Yeah, LAtech has or at least "had" an aviation scholarship program. Look into that
