I have been hacking stuff up in the morning for a long time, but never anything like this. It looked like phlegm but had the shape and consistency of an oyster. It was about the size of 3 pennies stacked on top of each other.

Ive been a little sick the last couple days and bringing stuff up. Almost choked on it

It was somewhat brown in color, I guess. A little darker than the phlegm.

I just looked up the symptoms of pneumonia. Yesterday i had fatigue and achy muscles but am feeling much better today. I did have swollen glands in my throat but they feel much better today as well. The only thing I have today is 101 fever and slight sinus congestion.

after a long weekend of blow, cigs, booze, and weed I routinely cough this shite up. Not really a big deal IMO

Here's what I suggest: If you are coughing but not having any trouble breathing, it's possibly an upper-respiratory infection or mild/severe bronchitis.

However...
If you think that there is the slight possibility that you have pneumonia, I'd just go to a walk-in clinic and get them to listen to you lungs. If they hear anything suspicious, they'll x-ray to rule it out.

I've had pneumonia twice and both times started out as what seemed like the flu or a severe cold and both times I ended up in the hospital.

Again, might be nothing, but if you ignore a lung ailment, you can develop permanent damage.

Ive never had pneumonia before, so after reading a few people mention it I will go ahead and make an appointment.

I bet it's a respiratory infection or bronchitis.

Productive cough = phlegm in lungs.
