What are the OTs thoughts on having a black James Bond?

Personally I am ready for a change of pace. A new James Bond, especially an African American James Bond, would bring something "hip" and "fresh" to the franchise

what I care about is someone who is badass, but cool. And can carry the role.
Idris elba fits that, although he might be a tad old to play the part.
Daniel craig has been the best bond since connery IMHO. I would like to see him do a few more films.

Nobody saw Will Smith's last movie - that was the Hollywood "interracial trial balloon" for the decade. It's why a black James Bond won't happen - those movies cost $75 million or so to make. Studios aren't happily writing off losses anymore.

Well, being that James Bond is a white guy, I think it's stupid. Black characters are black. White characters are white. I don't get the need to make a black James Bond. Just make a black "different guy".
