What's your problem with any of those things? Just curious.

why did you fix up one of your 'dearest' friends up with this guy if the end game was a 'huge mistake' as you put it? He was good enough to set up with your friend with but isn't good enough to tie the knot? Sup?

[quote]huge mistake[/quote

The huge mistake referenced in my post was me telling her that he was talking to me about marriage.
In hindsight it was indeed a huge mistake fixing them up. Kicking myself for that.
He's a guy that has been in my life for a long time and I care about him. I want him to be happy. I only had the best intentions here and apropos to the old saying - those intentions are paving the road to hell.

I think you have a crush on your ex roomie but you are in some sort of semi denial. He was falling for your friend and you sabotaged it...now, you are trying to scheme your way in between this new gal. You want him happy but you want that happiness with you and only you. I got you figured out but it's o.k., if you love something or someone, set it free, etc, etc...

Your pronoun antecedent is not clear. Who are you asking hit whom??

His being my former roomate has no bearing on my OP. I should have never mentioned that... I hijacked my own thread...

Eight marriages between these two but I'm sure it's the gays getting married that is REALLY going to destroy the institution.
