Pt 105. I enjoy reading anything about PT boats.
With the old breed. After reading this book you totally understand nuking the Japanese home land. You also realize the genius of island hopping and literally stranding 100s of thousands of those troops on their island hells.

I've never read any of the "Killing" books, but I'm leaning to trying that one
I'm a big fan of it so far. (I'm about halfway through) It's got a pretty good balance. It covers tactics, high ranking military and political figures, and personal stories of soldiers on the ground(probably my favorite aspect of it).

Hitler's War, a biographical book by David Irving.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. I can't wait to start knocking some of these off the list.

Stalingrad by Antony Beevor
His book on the battle of Berlin was also top shelf.

I just finished it a few days ago. For me it shed a lot of light on that part of the war. Outside of a fee battles I didn't know much about the Pacific Theater.
After reading it I do wonder why (as was posted in another thread) there isn't as much outrage against the Japanese in regards to their war crimes, when compared to the Nazi crimes.
