I've been out of college for 5 years now. Every now in then I dream that it's 3/4 through the semester and I've missed every class for one particular subject. It's usually an elective but I'm worried that I will not be able to graduate without it in the dream.

I can't find a clear meaning what this dream means but it's common when I search for it on google.

Does anyone else have this dream?

I've been out of college a lot longer than you, and I still have that dream every couple of months.

It seems to be common among those who went to college. I find myself often frustrated in the dream. It's scary kind of like a nightmare.

I've been out of college for 40 years now and and still have this dream. I am taking a final in a class I have never attended -- fine arts or something. While it starts out unsettling, I am doing well on the exam and decide that I made a good choice sleeping in for this Monday morning class.

Recently, I've been having dreams that really frighten me. I am in the house where I grew up and someone is trying to break in. I am trying to keep the front door closed, but it's a losing battle. I always wake up before it fully opens.

I have been out of school for a hell of a long time and still sometimes have two dreams related to school...

first is me busting arse to study for finals...when I walk in to take the test, I find out that I had the days screwed up and missed the exam...

other one is that I thought I dropped a class and didn't find out that I hadn't until graduation time...couldn't graduate because of it...

It means you have a small penis.

Fwiw, I've never had that dream.

After I hit 40 or so, I started having dreams about my body doing weird things. Some are obvious, like looking in the mirror and being totally bald or having all white hair. Some are about finding out that I have a disease or simply dreaming that I hurt something like a broken arm or leg.

Others are very strange. Last night I dreamed that I had some swollen spot on the back of my thigh. I had a hard time seeing it even with a mirror, but when I finally did, i saw that it had a small mouth that opened and closed! It was very frightening and it woke me up.

Any chance this class was English? I think it means God wants you to start using the word recurring correctly.

Nah, in all seriousness I have a similar dream that involves work a lot. No idea what it means.

I have the test taking dreams a lot, but I'm still in college. Hopefully I'll stop having them eventually.

I've had 3 dream themes that have been occurring for years.

Mild stress-alligator attacks

Medium stress-tornados

High stress-plane crash

It's like clockwork. Always different, but same themes. Might have a huge tornado barrel through, or could have 7 small tornadoes off in the distance. Just depends.

I have had different forms of the college dream.

The most vivid being that I have a Calculus final on the 4th floor of Lockett. There is no 4th floor in Lockett.

Another one that I have found is pretty unique to me: In my dream I want to take off my shirt, or a jacket and I can't. I struggle and struggle and sometimes I tear it off, sometimes I cut it off, sometimes I work it off, sometimes I get someone to take ti off of me, sometimes I can't get it off. It's pretty stressful in the dream, almost like a panic.

I realized I was having this dream on the rare occasion that I actually wore a shirt to bed IRL I would wake up and the shirt would be off in the morning. But recently I remember having the dream when I didn't have a shirt on.

I don't know what it means.

Only one a few times a year - what seems a lifetime ago, I-12 was under construction on the Northshore, a friend & I are in Cherokee 6 just out for a little sightseeing - dropped it down to a few feet between the tall pines & went full throttle - every now & than a power line would go overhead, and all of a sudden they were coming more quickly - eased around a gentle curve staring at an overpass a mile or so up the road & power lines now flying by - picked a spot & the second a line passed, jerked it up & away hoping the next line wasn't to close - in the dream, we reach the overpass, close eyes & it starts over, and over & over

My most common dream themes:

I find out I didn't finish high school and have to go back and complete it.

I find clothes in my closet I didn't know I had, or I find rooms in my house I didn't know were there.

I dream I have to go somewhere, but keep having to switch streets because of traffic, can't read the map, or am otherwise prevented from getting to where I need to be.

When I retired, I kept dreaming I was back at work and had to finish a task before I could leave, but kept getting interrupted before I could finish the task.

I've had these before but not recently. According to dream mood you are insecure about your appearance. It's common for both men and women.

My version is I stopped going to a class, but failed to officially drop it and discover at exam time that I'm still registered for it. I had this dream fairly often for years, though not much for a while now.

The curious thing is that IRL I never had a problem with dropping a class.

I never remember my dreams anymore. I should write them down.

Mine are pretty much dead on. Crazy stuff.
