What % split are you between bowtie and necktie?

I'm becoming more and more of a bowtie guy.

But they only work on guys who don't have a gut.

I think bowties look fairly stupid most of the time (some exceptions though).

I started this thread to make a recommendation for bowtie wearers.

goodmakers on ebay. They are some china manufacturer, but I decided to give it a whirl (becuase bowties seem to be expensive). Anyways, for $6.99 shipped, I have bought several ties from them and have been really satisfied. They are not super great quality, but are easily worth the price of a fast food lunch.

neckties are archaic. they get in the way, I'm just not a fan.

90% neck tie, that 10% is for special events.
