Supposedly a pretty quaint little suburb.

Gangbangers from chicago have been hitting all kinds of places in burbs and rural areas to steal guns.

they hit about 5 pawn shops and about 3 gun shops in far, southern Illanoy.

My coworker has a son who is a POlice officer in the area and they both were not surprised.

Do some searches on guns being stolen off trains. I think they had one in Chicago a while back with a 100 or so guns.

Gang Thieves Use Rail Yards As Shopping Malls, Steal Scores Of Guns

quote:

CHICAGO (CBS) — Gang members have been using lightly-guarded South Side rail yards as shopping malls, making off with dozens of firearms over the past few years, and authorities said their exploits have been contributing to the rise in violence on Chicago streets. Street gang thieves repeatedly have broken into box cars at Norfolk Southern Railway yards on the South Side, and made off with more than 150 guns in three heists since 2014. “Unfortunately, it’s very easy for thieves to break into these train cars,” said retired U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent Tom Ahern. “They break in, they steal whatever items are in there.”

There is about to be an increase in shootings in the Chicago suburbs, seeing as how it is illegal for them to bring these guns into the city.

That is a seriously nice range. What in the hell is it doing near the Southside of Chicago with all the anti gun laws?

It's in a well-to-do very conservative town. Poverty rate is like 3%.

I believe it. Definitely takes some money to sustain a place like that. Appears to have a bar, and pool table in the VIP area. Huge inventory of various firearms, and state of the art range gear.
