If I can recollect the history well, I believe that there WAS a wing of the Black Panther Party that truly wanted to do only peaceful things like feed children, raise awareness, promote black-owned businesses and encourage fellow black people to do positive things. This was the true meaning of "Black Power". To this wing, any violence would only come in legitimate self-defense. No violent intimidation or violent attacks of any kind for this wing of the Panthers.

THEN a more violent element took over the Party. Huey Newton was a ringleader of this wing. Huey was a regular criminal who had no interest in helping anybody's "community" but the "community" of Huey Newton himself. Huey's sociopathic violent nature influence the path of the Panthers and completely ruined any chance that the Panther Party would be a peaceful advocate for the black community. The meaning of Black Power was changed from something peaceful and constructive to one of violent revolution.

They were a bunch of JV players who obviously could not hold a candle to the Klan.

Literally if you goto The Black Panther website, they want America to give them their own land. Also, want all blacks in prison to be freed and they will trial them in their new land America should give them. Also, no whites are allowed in that land. Cant make this shite up.

Just give them a big arse island and send all that want to go there including all of the prisoners who are so wrongly prosecuted. Make sure it is at least 5 miles from land since most can't swim, we would never have to see them again. We would save money by not having prisons overcrowded and get rid of the trash that we don't need. We could even split the island in two parts using a big 20' wall and put the Klan on the other side and film the whole thing. Gets rid of a shite load of trashy people all at once.

If by JV, you're implying that they didn't have the intelligence of their white counterparts, and were doomed only because of their ignorance, then I concede, you're right. They failed not due to desire, but they simply weren't as smart as the clan. They were JV.
