Shafer Busch

It was her decision to shorten it from Shafer Lee.

I work with a category manager in China whose name is Peter Pan. I can't say it without snickering.

Doug, which sounds normal, but it's his given birth name and he's from Guatemala.

This isn't weird so much as unfortunate but I used to work with a guy named James Earl Ray. He was from Memphis as well but claimed no relation. I suggested that he might go by just James or Earl but he didn't think many people would recognize the name.

We had a worker who wanted people to call him Coo-coo. I think his real name was Curtis and he didn’t like that name or something.

I thought it was absolutely absurd that a grown man wanted to go by that so I never called him that. I gave him a lot of dude/bro/chief/buddys when I talked to him and called him Curtis when talking about him to others.
