Need a DJ for a wedding ceremony. The crowd (about 100) will be a mix of ages and tastes. Outdoor pavilion setting. Recommendations?

Save your money and play 98.1, then throw in the odd country, disco, or hip hop song where everyone dances.

Not a money issue at all. It's a matter of space, flexibility, and variety. At least this is what my SO thinks.

Check out Geaux Live DJ. They did my wedding (our reception venue couldn't handle a band) and they really blew us away.

DJ Koolaid. He's from Plaquemine. He's got a FB page to contact him. One of the best around that I've seen.

This either ends here or this eventually ends badly.

It's your choice today.

PS Pics of the SO for flexibility and variety vetting, por favor.

Geaux Live DJ. I went to school with the guy who owns it (Stephen). Really good dude and they are great. I used them for my wedding and did a package with a DJ, photo booth, and dance floor lights. I remember it being a really solid deal. IMHO you can't go wrong wth them.

I can DJ for you.. It will not be professional, but I can mix up some songs for you. I threw a mix together the other day using a beastie boys song.. But I know a few people who DJ for weddings and what not, I really wouldn't recommend them.
