What's the chances that my flight gets delayed later today with these storms rolling through?

Everything rolling smooth. Just left Baton Rouge airport and all flights were on schedule. No wind just light rain everywhere and I'm sure N.O. is just the same.

Just passed through there. Just light rains, you may have to circle the airport till a squal passes through but you shouldnt be delayed long.

Flew from BTR to DFW this morning. Flew in clouds the whole way, but flight was fine. You should be good.

if you coming in on a Cessna 152, 172 - maybe a little bump here or there. If it is a commercial jet - they have windshield wipers on those suckers

NWS just upgraded GOM low from gale warning to storm warning. System is trying to strengthen a bit. Should be making landfall this afternoon/evening.

quote:

Update...
have upgraded from a Gale Warning to a Storm Warning for
Intercoastal City to High Island and out 60 nm through 10 PM.

Discussion...
a deepening low off the southeast Texas coast this morning has
a few offshore platforms reporting wind gust to or just above 50
knots. This low will move to the north then northeast and finally
onshore in south central Louisiana late today.
