Rohe co-created and hosted "Mrs. Muffin" on WDSU, one of the city's first and most popular children's shows. It aired from 1950 through 1957. She was also the producer and host of WDSU's immensely popular "Midday" show, one of the earliest magazine-style programs in the United States. "Midday" was appointment television in New Orleans. Both programs originated from WDSU's new French Quarter studios on Royal Street. Rohe's employment at WDSU began in 1948, prior to WDSU even signing on-air in December of that year.
