Whats up with the water park that is slowly being built near Iowa, LA north of I-10. Seems like that thing has been under construction for a decade and the slides are starting to fall apart before its finished.

Is it just some guys personal project that he works on the weekends?

I've been curious about this thing for years. I've never seen construction going on, I figured it was done. I just kinda thought it was a rich a-hole who wanted a waterslide in his backyard.

One guy has been building it out of pocket for years.

Rumor is the water filtration system he purchase wouldn't pass the health test (basically wouldn't catch and filter enough debris AKA poop) and he is in litigation with the company he bought it from but is damn near broke.

All of this may not be true but it's what I have heard about it for a few years now.

I mean it was open for a while, if it's the one I'm thinking of. Could be wrong.

I feel like the buildings on the property have been added within the last 3-5 years.

I noticed the slide leading into the big funnel is no longer connected the other day.

Has anything been added in the last 10 years?

If he's building slowly, he's really taking his time.

I remember reading in the American Press a few years ago, that he is having a dispute over water access.

I wanna say the Laccasine backed out on him when he was midstroke building the waterpark.

Seems like that could easily be fixed with a huge water well.

From what I remember he didn't have the permits to get water, so board of health shut him down, then he tried to get permits to drill a well but the water district shut him down there because of the volume and the fact that he didn't want to recycle the water. It was definitely all about not planning it out enough.
