Watch experts - opinions on Tag's

I have a 2 month old Aquaracer that has already crapped out. Did I get a lemon or are they known for just being a yuppy POS watch? Trying to figure out if I even want to have it repaired or have my money refunded and buy another brand.
eta - does anyone have experience with their customer service/repair group? Is this going to be a nightmare?

Obviously it's a lemon. Is this a real question?
ETA: Where'd you buy it?

I would buy another watch but I'm just biased against Tags.

Bought it at a tag store

If it's not a Rolex, it doesn't belong on the OT

I've got one that's 12yrs old and still works wonderfully

I like their roast beef poboy and they sell quality meats.

I think you got a lemon- I have a 4 year old Tag that has given me no problems. I'd definitely try and exchange it.
I love my Tag and will keep it forever (Anniversary Present), but if I ever get the chance to buy another watch, it will probably not be another one. I've learned that there are better quality watches out there for the same price or slightly more, thanks to the great minds of the OT.

Not trolling. This is my first experience with a TAG and I'm a little upset that a watch with this price "tag" already requires service. I may throat punch someone in if they expect me to pay for servicing it and frankly I think I'm owed a new watch.

I have a TAG that is 20+ years old. I take it to Lee Michael's (authorized TAG repair center) in BR every 3-4 years for cleaning. It's one of the best watches I have ever owned.

I've got a 10 and 15 yo Tag.
15 yo got a new face and dial a few years back. The seal went bad.
Both are great though.

Where did you buy it from? Any decent dealer should exchange it for you within 90 days, or let you have credit towards the purchase of another watch- if not, I'm sure that Tag will take it back and repair/replace for free.

I'd just go buy an Omega if I were this guy. Much better quality for a little bit more money

+1 if you like the Aquaracer, get a lower end Omega Seamaster.
