Try Airline Hwy between the Fairgrounds and LA 73.

Airline highway headed towards Gonzales there's always somebody selling them on both sides of the road. Not sure about a holiday though.

Go drive around NBR and ask people standing on the streets. They know where the best watermelons can be found.

Thought watermelons was a code word for something else and I was about to be IN. Now I'm out.

Rock on thanks for the quick post
Yeah I've got a new appreciation for watermelons and might as well go for a good one. I was working outside sweating arse off yesterday and my neighbors friend gave her one - wasn't for sale so I started wondering from there

If I'm thinking of the same guy, he also sits on 190 sometimes.

I don't like watermelons but I have to ask, are Washington Parish watermmelons any better than other watermelons? Why?
