Was it easier for you to get Weed or Alcohol in high school?

I was in high school from 2004-2008 (2 years in Hawaii, 2 in New Orleans) and I remember it being super easy to get some weed. All you had to do was ask, and you could get it in a few minutes. Alcohol on the other hand, I could never get my hands on liquor other than at a few parties I went to. I could never just get a beer or get a bottle of Jack. Only the country arse kids who had parents who let them drink could get their hands on some alcohol. In other words it was more of a hassle to get alcohol than weed when I was in High School. I don't toke or drink anymore. Which was easier to obtain when you were a high school kid?
Obviously those in high school before the drinking age was pushed back to 21 could get alcohol easily

I didn't smoke pot in H.S., but the '60s were the time to get it pretty easy. I started going to bars at age 16, the drinking age in NY was 18 back then.

Alcohol was much easier, I just had to ask my parents. Weed, was relatively easy too. I had friends who got baked every day at the Houma Airbase before school.

Alcohol. In line with that other thread, one of my friends moms would buy us alcohol if we would stay at his house.
I never really hung around with people who smoked at that age though. In hindsight I'm sure it would have been really easy had I made any effort.

Both were easy.
I could get weed whenever, although in HS people mostly had mids.
For alcohol I knew which gas stations and which attendants wouldn't card me.
