Not in military but spent 2.5 years in Iraq, June 08 - Dec 09 and Oct 10 - Nov 11, working as a contractor for C-RAM (Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar).

I am currently in Afghanistan and have been for the past 3 years in support of C-RAM.

Bush,

Thanks bro.

Aren't you a sniper by trade?

If so, was that your trade in all conflicts?

Interested because a close family member is going that route.

Jungle boots are fantastic but the best boots I ever had were a trade with the FFL in Afghanistan

They were their cold weather boots and I can't find who makes them as they have no label on them

But the outer leather I think was buck skin as it was really malleable but stronger than frick and you could roll it down and leave the inner layer up to keep your trousers dressed

Any other Marines on here that spent time at Camp Lejeune and was effected or possible effected by the contaminated drinking water?

I use heard they settled the class action (if that is the proper terminology) but not sure how they divide it up.

I think the last year of known contaminated water was 85, but I just started looking into this. I'm pretty sure the 90's were clear.

service dates from August 1, 1953, to December 31, 1987

This is the time period
