On road conditions. Coming from Hattiesburg, picking up I-12 and heading straight to Alex Box Stadium.

Are there any issues with I-12 or roads in or around the LSU campus?

Thanks.

During school hours, you cannot drive through campus.

This is correct, however; I think you are able to do so after 4:30. With that said, if he is going to Alex Box then its not on campus.

None right now, but if you're coming in Friday afternoon, count on an 18- wheeler flipping over or a car "stalled on the new bridge" sometime during rush hour.

Seriously, no major issues around campus, but there probably are no hotel rooms to be found so don't plan to stay overnight.

To be clear, that is the interior portion of campus. Any major route you take will be clear to get to the stadium.

Thanks.
Hotel reservations made over a month ago and as of this morning we still have a room.

Thanks again to all.

He is asking about this weekend and campus is open on the weekends so this will not be a problem for him.

Bless your heart. No one can answer this. It's Baton Rouge. You'll have to check google maps when you hit about Hammond.

But no, you will have no permanent issues heading west on I-12 after lunch time... once again barring some unforeseen issue.

It is Baton Rouge on a Friday. There WILL BE some unforseen issue. Whether it is a meth head stealing a car and flipping over a tanker truck or a car miraculously slamming into a guardrail and blocking nine lanes of traffic, it will happen. Love me some Baton Rouge, hate me some Baton Rouge traffic.

Nah just drove from Madisonville to Port Hudson and no problems. Maybe a little more traffic than usual.
