DENHAM SPRINGS - A WBRZ photographer and other good Samaritans helped rescue a woman from a burning car on Highway 63 Tuesday morning.
A 21-year-old woman, 7-months pregnant was driving on Highway 63 near Highway 444 when she apparently lost control, ran off the road and crashed into trees along the highway. After the crash, the sports car she was driving burst into flames.
WBRZ photographer Patrick Perry and News 2 anchor/reporter Brittany Weiss were following behind the woman on their way to an unrelated news story. Perry stopped the news unit he was driving and immediately ran to the burning car to get the woman out. Weiss grabbed a camera and started recording.
Perry was able to pull the woman from the passenger's side of the car, as flames burned an arm's reach away. As he told the woman to "hold on tight," he ran with her to the pavement. Others who stopped called 911 and joined Perry in comforting and holding the woman still until paramedics arrived.
The hero...

i don't get it. What is supposed to be racist about this story

WBRZ had to get their own hero rescuing a woman from a car. Couldn't be outdone by WAFB.
I will assume this car wasn't stolen?
In all seriousness, great job by the cameraman and the others who stopped to assist.

Calm down fat frick. She was calling 911 and grabbed the camera to shoot while she was doing it. She's a reporter. She'd be a dumbass if she didn't do that.

If this is anything like the boat rescue video, then they probably doused the car in lighter fluid before filming.

Hero is appropriately used here. Well done!
