They sound like Arabs. They don't get excited about much. Now if you had dropped a Koran on the floor they would have been losing their shite but this is just an In'shallah moment.

Interesting question is if it were you do you start yelling for the flight attendant and possibly cause a panic or do you wait and tell them once you are in the air? It's not like they can abort takeoff at that point.

The video says they were taking off from Santiago, Chile - headed for another city in Chile. Probably not Arabs.

And it's just the engine cowling, not really any cause for alarm.
