Vette Guy's sleeper car of the week: 2015 SS

OK, before all you euro-snobs turn up your noses, consider this:
415 HP and 415 ft/lbs of torque with a manual transmission .
(You can shifft a stick, can't you Nancy?)
[
Cons: exterior styling that's kinda boring, but that fits with the definition of "sleeper".
Still, good to see the V-8 stick sedan isn't totally dead.

Is this a concept or can you actually buy one with a stick?

You would think they could at least give it a little more style like the Malibu.

A little roots style supercharger oughta wake her right on up.

That's not an Impala. It's known simply as a "SS".

That's a pic of the SS, not the Impala SS (if there even is one)

Looks like a regular Chevy SS...which looked like a Pontiac G8. Would be fun to drive I'm sure.

I still have a rough time taking Chevy cars seriously.
This is a step in the right direction as far as interior goes.

That 6.2 has plenty of bottom end, I just don't know where that thing would fit.

Hide it under the front seat next to the headlight fluid.

I really want this car but when I search for a manual there doesn't seem to be too many in stock within a decent driving distance. Looks like I'd have to order one. I'm hoping to find a manual with magnetic ride on the used market in a year or two when I need a new car.

Is that based off of the Caprice the cops are shooting dogs from these days?

They are both based on the Holden Commodore.
