That's tough. I'd immediately scratch Greece if it were me.

ETA: Nothing to do with the crisis, just because I don't think it's as attractive for 10 days.

Vacation packages are trashy. Right below cruises on the trash scale.

Really, I would say the last option.

Is staying home an option?

I don't want to go anywhere I just want time off from work.

Easily the best of the bunch. You know it's a kickass trip when Paris may be the worst part. Yeah, this trip rocks.

Zurich, Lucerne, Geneva

Freaking awesome for skiing in the winter, still pretty cool in Summer, but not as much diversity. Lake Lucerne is simply stunning.

Madrid, Barcelona, Misbon

Call this #3, and isn't that supposed to be Lisbon? Would be a fun trip, but not as safe as the above.

quote:

Prague, Budapest, warsaw

I don't know much about Warsaw, but Budapest and Prague are outrageously beautiful.

Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm

Would make for a great summer trip.

Athens, Mykonos

Greece could have been the best trip, but Mykonos is only like the 3rd best island and Athens isn't that great after a couple days. Once you've seen the acropolis and the archaeology museum, you'll be ready to get out and hit the islands. Mykonos is cool, but Santorini and Rhodes are better. Mykonos is basically the Greek Key West, Santorini is just crazy beautiful, and Rhodes has that Greek Isle feel plus Greek ruins, a crusader castle, a medieval town, and a nude beach. Plus economic issues may make this not the best potentially (though it may be much better in a year's time)

I'm going to Dublin next Summer. My goal is to not leave Dublin. To be more specific, My goal is not to leave the pubs of Dublin.

I'm a go and stay kind of guy. I go for 10-14 days and really get to know that place.

I like this one as my first choice. There is no way in hell I'd go to Greece until that mess is sorted out. Those aren't happy people.

What I would prob do if money didn't matter.

Madrid, Barcelona, Misbon

What I would do if I wanted to save money. The €/$ rate right now is crazy low, and Spain is super cheap normally anyway.

Athens, Mykonos

Will prob be on the Drachma by the time you get there.

Do yourself a favor and go up into the Wicklow mountains above Dublin for the day. Some beautiful scenery out there, specifically Glendalough. Dublin's a cool place, but I found it to be the most American, and one of the most expensive, more so than London IMO, though with the € dropping that helps.
