At&T is about to buy out DirecTV in the next couple weeks, so there's not gonna be any difference

I hate it. It always loses connection at least once a week. Equipment is crap. I've been through numerous modems and boxes in just six months. Stay away.

I have Uverse, but switched form Cox. It is so much better, and they are actually decent people to talk to when I need something (I doubt this will last though). Also, their techs seem more knowledgeable and definitely less creepy than other companies I've dealt with.

ETA: Looks like my experience has been the complete opposite of Sabi's.

Love it. No problems but will probably cut the cord in a couple months just because we are tired of paying for it.

I've had it for 3 years in Houston and have never had a problem. I really like the interface both online and on the TV and they have some pretty cool apps during the Olympics and Masters. And whenever my rate goes up due to my promotions expiring, I just call and retention hooks me up again.

I've had it for 18 months and it's great. No issues at all. Their DVR is way better than the crap I had with Cox (at least as far as capacity).

In Baton Rouge, switched over from COX about a year and a half ago, uverse has been far superior. Less outages, less freezing, better DVR (although I think COX has upgraded their DVR system since then) and I've had no issues at all with the internet.

I don't get people who say this. I have had it for 6 months and not had one single problem. Had to restart wireless cable box after rain once.

They are supposedly running another line but we'll see if that works.

Be careful. I've heard they lock you into a 2 year contract and give you a discount on the first year then you see your prices shoot up all the sudden. I warned a friend and he said he had the year discount and a one year contract so everything worked out for him. Also, the 2 year contract information is hearsay and from an unreliable source.

It's actually the opposite. The price is guaranteed for 2 years, but you're only under contract for 1 year.

Yeah this dude was probable just trying to prove his point and feeding me misinformation. I'm just so used to the cox channels though.

I loved my U-Verse. We have DirecTV right now, and I miss my U-Verse.
