Looking for another vehicle for my wife to drive into the dirt, don't want to put anymore miles on her new explorer

She's doing 130 miles per day while working as an escort, you guys were going to insinuate it anyways might as well just go with it.

6K or so price range
Small
Good gas mileage
Does well in the later stages of life to last us as long as possible

For your time I offer up some girls not as attractive as coeds walking around on LSU campus

If she is in the business, we need pics to see if she is good enough to work the business.

The Honda Accord is rated as the most likely vehicle to reach 200K miles

Followed by a Civic

If she likes SUV's you could see if there is a 4Runner in your price range

Thanks for the recommendations, civics seem to hold their price well. Escorts seem to be better priced for newer years with similar gas mileage and less miles, I imagine it may not hold up as well though

1,3,2 - I don't even like blondes

Get a Jetta or Passat TDi. Great mpg and comfortable

My wife drives the same mileage as yours. What has been your strategy/experiences with vehicles?

How long has she been commuting?

My wife has put 50K miles on her car in 16 months. I regularly maintain it but we are starting to see some issues with the transmission. It now has 130K miles

I have been toying with the idea of buying a late model/brand new Accord, making sure it has adaptive cruise and telling her to drive it to 200K before we give it to our kid who will turn 16 at around that time.

Since you posted a pic of your SO, I felt it was only fair I do the same:

We just started

My wife has a 2015 decked out explorer sport that we already put 33k miles on.

Too nice of a vehicle to drive as much as she will be doing.

Don't care to put the miles on it so sticking with that alone isn't a consideration for us

You can't go wrong with a Honda or Toyota.

I've put 300k+ miles on 3 different accords not following any recommend maintenance.
