Point to the red spot on the dosage map where you're from.

The red in SWLA is probably more due to our industry

Why was southern Louisiana affected more than parts of Texas closer to the testing?

Nope. Those maps specifically detail fallout from 1950s - 1970s nuclear testing.

It's called flyover country for a reason. A national afterthought.

Why would Oak Ridge have anymore fallout than the rest of the country? No nuclear testing (ie. outdoor explosions) was done near Oak Ridge.

What is interesting is the amount of radiation in the grain belt. That food feeds the world. I wonder if any signifigant radiation is carried to other countries via wheat/corn/soybean/etc?

You really don't know much about oak ridge I'm guessing . What do you think happened to nuclear waste there? Lets just say theres plenty of waste buried in the woods.

Actually, I know a LOT about Oak Ridge. However, there's a big difference between stored waste and fallout.

Surely you know that...or not.

You should see how much is buried right next to the Colombia River and smack in the middle of a large farming area in Washington state.
