Is there a better cheap gratification than finding ice in your urinal?

I don't know the reason for ice in a urinal but if I know a bar does that I will go more often.

Apart from the entertainment value, the melting ice provides a continuous slow flush with clean water which helps with odors.

I had a buddy who used to own a bar and said that before putting in ice people would piss on the floor/sink/wall if there was a line at the pisser. After the ice they would wait their turn.
I didn't believe him only b/c i doubt there was ever enough people in there that would require a line.

That's genius. Are the bottoms of the long trough urinals shaped that it slopes down towards the drain (smart) or flat (stupid)?

In college, I saw one kid sneak this other kid who was pissing in a large bathroom trough full of ice. He knocked him out and the kid folded over face first into the piss ice. It was hilarious

I always associate ice in a urinal with class. Probably because the first time I saw this was at Mary Mahoney's in Biloxi.

Any body feel like your pecker gets cold when you piss on ice? Maybe someone with an Engineering or Fluid Dynamics degree could explain this to me.

May be in the minority, but I don't like ice in the urinal. Is the steam that comes up and fills the room the hot piss steam or cold ice steam?
