quote:Negative, based on her pic.
Yeah, but WYHI?
quote:I wish I still had it. I'm going to see if I can get a copy of it on Monday. They'll prob be in tears when they see my mangled arm.
To be fair, you've posted her message but not your note. I'd like to see what she was responding so passionately about. Either way, it sounds like she should have taken some time to think before lashing out like that.
quote:In the message she criticized my handwriting; I'm wearing a cast, though my handwriting sucks with or without it.
What's wrong with your arm and what does that have to do with the situation?
quote:The only alter was I edited out my name and her name, which seems like the mature, responsible thing to do. I could email the full message, and you could cross reference it to the school website.
This reeks of an alter
quote:I told her I didn't appreciate her accusing my son of forgery and doing that in front of the class. I told her she should have handled in privately. I also told her I was concerned that she kept leaving them unsupervised. She says she left them supervised, but that only means another teacher checked in on them a couple of times. I going to take my son to school on Monday and send him to class with a note telling her the "coward" is in the office to see her. I've emailed a transcript and audio file of the message to the superintendant and the woman who oversees this particular school. This is 4th grade by the way.
Post the notes you wrote her.
quote:he was hit on top of the head with a water bottle; then he tossed the bottle a few feet away where nobody sits, which we confirmed with another student who was in the class. I punished him for a day and a half. I patted him on the back on told him good job for not throwing the bottle at the person who threw it at him
What was your response to your child when the letter was sent home?
quote:This won't be a problem; it's a 3rd and 4th grade school, so he'll be done with the school in 2 weeks. I may keep him home the last week. they quit doing any real work last week. It's mostly just fun and games now.
It will just be worse for your child.
